Main Character:
The main character in the story is Ralph. Ralph was voted as the leader of the group when the boys crashed into a tropical island in order for them to be rescued.
Supporting Characters:
- Jack: is the lead singer of the school choir. He is the rival of Ralph.
- Piggy: is the source of knowledge of the group.
- Sam and Eric(Samneric) : the twins that was described as one entity. mistaken a dead pilot as the beast in the island that caused their group to be scared.
III. Setting
The story took place in a tropical island. The island was isolated from the society which allowed the boys to do every thing they want. The setting makes the story exciting because you will never know what will happen to you and your friends when all of you are stuck in an island.
IV Plot: The Action/Summary of What Happened in the Story
The story started during the World War II, a British plane that was carrying the boys was shot down and crashed into a tropical island. Two of the boys(Ralph and Piggy), searched for survivors of the plane crash. They saw a shell that can be used as an instrument to call the attention of the survivors. The sound led the survivors to Ralph and Piggy. They decided to form a government body and elected Ralph as they leader. Having an idea to be rescued, they made a fire to attract passing ships. Jack was assigned in hunting for food for them to survive. Not so long after, there was a rivalry between Jack and Ralph that made the group split into two. There was chaos in the island that killed some of the boys. The story ended when navy arrived in the island and rescued them.

V. Theme
The author tells us that without a group of people governing in a place, the people in that place would suffer. I learned that we should cooperate with others, do our part, and be responsible.
VI. Evaluation of the Book
The story was great because i can't imagine myself with my friends stuck in an island surrounded by things that we don't know, that we live to survive in that place. What I didn't like was the READING part because i'm not used to reading books since I was still young. I prefer watching than reading.
